About Osaka

Osaka is a port city on the Seto Inland Sea, the third largest city in Japan, and the largest in the Kansai region. It has a vibrant food and nightlife culture and is often called “Japan’s Kitchen”.

Despite a long history as the place where people in Japan do business, ironically Kansai people have a reputation for being a little bit too laid back! When Tokyo is busy, it has the feel of commuter bustle; but when Osaka gets busy, it has the feel more like a festival.
